While just chillin' in my front yard and taking pictures of the birds. This site seemed to call to me. The moss hanging like dainty lace from the trees...enjoy!

My Wild World 051913

At this time I am unable to get out to much to explore due to my dads poor health.  Need to stay close by. BUT I do have a feeder outside my window where my computer sits and believe me I am entertained all day with all the birds that come by and the squirrels.  They are so funny watch as they fight for the food. Below are just a couple of birds I happened to catch with my camera. The first one is a chickadee.  They are so cute and he seem pleased to pose for me.

The next one is a Red Bellied Woodpecker.  I so love to watch him!  My dad lives just down the street and he has some Red Headed Woodpeckers visit his feeder....have to remember to take my camera.... 

Hope you enjoyed my list spot in the birding world. Believe me I sooo want to do more exploring when I am able. Next week I'll see what else visit me....til then...happy bird watching!

My Birds

Where my desk sits at my house, I can see the bird feeder in my yard. I so love watching the birds.  The Blue Jays love my bird bath, it is funny to watch them bath, you would think there are 4 or 5 in there with all the water that is splashed out.

Below are a few of my friends:

These are White Ibis and they walk with their heads down digging for bugs and worms....

 This is a cardinal I took a picture of through my window. I have many of them also.

 This is a Gopher Owl.  (Don't look at my desk....) My husband and I came home one night and he was sitting on the table.....scared us to death. I was able to get the camera with out him moving. He was blinded in one eye.  My husband caught him with a clothes basket and safely put him out side....

This little guy is a sparrow that got into our house also.  (Haven't a clue on how they get in.....) But he was perched on the string of lights....took a while to get him out....
